I also had the opportunity to chat with one of the film’s producers, Tshepiso Chikapa Phiri, who shared insights into the vision behind the production and the importance of preserving African stories through film. The red carpet also attracted some of South Africa’s most respected entertainment personalities, including Tresor, Kgomotso Christopher, and Zikhona Sodlaka, further highlighting the significance of the occasion within the industry.
