The atmosphere at Sognage is always effortlessly cool—but on this night, it felt electric. As part of his Homebody 2026 Tour, Billy Raffoul delivered a performance that was equal parts intimate, powerful, and unforgettable, reminding everyone in the room why live music remains such a special experience.
The event itself was flawlessly executed, thanks to promoters Natasha and Ryan Savage, who continue to raise the bar with every production they touch. From the seamless flow of the evening to the attention to detail, it’s clear that their passion for live music translates into shows that feel both polished and personal.
Opening the night was the ever-radiant Tatum Tides, whose warm presence and infectious energy immediately connected with the audience. With tracks like Neverland, she set a tone that was both uplifting and immersive. There’s something incredibly genuine about her performance style—effortless yet captivating. In a fun and unexpected twist, I even had the chance to assist Ryan and the team by blowing bubbles during the final moments of her set. It was one of those unique, behind-the-scenes contributions that added a whimsical layer to the experience—different, playful, and a reminder that live shows are built on collaboration and creativity.
Then came Billy Raffoul.
From the moment he stepped on stage, there was a quiet confidence—an understanding that he didn’t need theatrics to command attention. His voice did all the work. Moving seamlessly between deeply introspective tracks like Acoustic and Coffee to more high-energy anthems like We Could Get High, Billy took the audience on a dynamic emotional journey.
One of the standout elements of the night was his willingness to share the stage. Bringing Tatum Tides back for their new release Honey created a beautiful synergy—two distinct voices blending into something fresh and memorable (Booshle G who also features on the single, was performing in spirit). Later, he welcomed Janie Bay to perform their upcoming track Hold It Against Me, offering the crowd a glimpse into what’s next while reinforcing the collaborative spirit that defined the evening.
Billy Raffoul’s charm lies in his balance—there’s a sophistication in his delivery, yet it never feels distant. His voice carries a raw brilliance that cuts through, whether he’s stripped back with just a guitar or leaning into a fuller, more energetic sound.
All in all, it was a great show—one that combined strong performances, thoughtful production, and those unexpected, magical moments that make live music linger long after the final note.
